Meet Jeff McKenna

As the Executive Chef of Samira, Jeff McKenna brings the talent, the passion and the key ingredient to the Samira kitchen: experience.

Whether it’s fresh seafood or traditional American cuisine, Chef McKenna has worked throughout the country to master his skills and enhance his culinary arts.

From Key West to Colorado, Georgia to Wyoming, he’s learned from the best and now comes to Samira a seasoned chef ready to share exciting recipes with our patrons.

Chef McKenna is a Certified Executive Chef and a Certified Culinary Educator for the American Culinary Federation and has earned an A.O.S. in Culinary Arts and a B.S. in Foodservice Management from Johnson & Wales University. He also taught as a Chef Instructor at North Georgia Technical College.

His past successes include the Café Marquesa in Key West, FL, The Cloister in Sea Island, GA and McKenna’s in Kent, OH.

Samira is proud to have such a talented, motivated and experienced chef running the kitchen.

His love for the culinary arts will be seen in every dish served at Samira.
